Welcome to Boots & Arrow! We’re glad you’re here, and your probably wondering a little bit about who we are and what we’re all about.

Let us tell you a story.

Almost a year ago, we set out to make a truly unique product line incorporating repurposed materials. After many years in the design industry and just as much time rescuing dogs, we wanted to find a way to combine our love for design, social good, animals and our hometown of Austin into one project.

And Boots & Arrow was born.

All of our products are made of the leather from reclaimed cowboy boots that have been hand sourced and selected all over Texas. As part of our multi-step production process, our team hand disassembles, cleans and repairs every boot we find. Our pieces are then laser cut and etched, hand painted and sewn, edge painted and finished with solid brass and brass plated hardware – so that they become coveted accessories for you and your animal that are unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Working in this way isn’t easy, but it’s the only way we can imagine doing what we do. We believe in products that are good to the earth and support local industry, and that’s what you’ll get with every piece we design.

We’re starting out with handmade leather collars and will then extend our collection into a wide range of leather accessories – including clutches, wallets, leashes, key chains and money clips. Along the way, we plan to use this blog to give you a look at our inspiration and process; to share our style, our passion for design and our love for animals. We hope you’ll join us.
